In the winter months of June to November, you will witness the majesty of the migrating Southern Humpback Whales from the balconies of our Premium Ocean View apartments and from the North Gorge Walk, beaches and Headlands. Point Lookout is one of the best land based whale watching locations in the world.

References to “us”, “we”, and or “our”, shall mean Whale Watch Ocean Beach Resort. We strongly recommend you acquire travel insurance. Any ‘Specials” advertised on this site relate to NEW bookings only and will not be offered to a cancelled booking and re-booking. PLEASE NOTE: MANAGEMENT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL BOOKINGS (eg:&nbsp;zig zag booking,&nbsp;the inability to supply due to unforeseen circumstances, any booking errors, conflict of interest) These terms and conditions apply to any bookings you make with us by phone, email, in person, or online. We will rely on the authority of the person making the reservation, to act on behalf of any other guests on the booking, and that person, will bind all such guests to these terms and conditions. PAYMENT CONDITIONS&nbsp; A 50% deposit of your booking is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.&nbsp;The Balance of your booking will be required 7 days prior to your check in date.&nbsp;&nbsp; DEPOSIT &amp; PAYMENT&nbsp;Please be advised that reservations are not confirmed until the payment of the required deposit has been successfully processed and a booking confirmation sent.&nbsp;Keys will not be given out until full payment of balance has been received.&nbsp; *A 1.43% credit card surcharge will be charged for all MasterCard and Visa Card transactions processed via the website and telephone bookings. Credit Card Surcharge is non-refundable. *International cards accepted, a surcharge of 1.43% is changed on all international credit card transactions. CANCELLATION POLICYThe guest acknowledges that they are aware of the following cancellation policy advice: The Agent makes the booking in good faith. However, the Agent takes no responsibility for actions or changes made by the owner or a third party which may impact on the booking and over which the Agent has no control. This provision includes the property being made for sale or being sold. Government enforced closures will receive full refund only.&nbsp;Excluding Credit Card Surcharges HIGH &amp; SHOULDER SEASON&nbsp;OR SPECIAL EVENTS PERIODBookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, will receive a refund of their deposit.&nbsp;If cancelled 30 days or less, prior to arrival, guests will forfeit their deposit.&nbsp;Final payment MUST be received in full 7 days prior to arrival. LOW SEASON CANCELLATIONSBookings cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival, will receive a refund of their deposit.&nbsp;If cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival, guests will forfeit 1 nights accommodation fee. NO refunds will be given on day of arrival or once you have checked into the Resort. CONDITIONS OF STAY&nbsp;Guests are liable for all breakages and damage and loss of resort property.&nbsp;Late checkout fees apply after our standard 10:00 AM checkout time.&nbsp;Additional cleaning fees may be imposed for excessive mess and rubbish removal beyond normal housekeeping requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;Whalewatch Ocean Beach Resort reserves the right to apply charges.&nbsp;Guests will be contacted regarding any additional charges, and payment will be required within 7 days of notification.&nbsp; LATE CHECK OUT OR EARLY CHECK INLate check out, and early check in, may be available upon request where possible.&nbsp;Please request this prior to your arrival.&nbsp;There is an additional fee of : $25 (up to 12noon, if wanting longer and this is available the fee will be $50) UNDER 18’sAll guests under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire stay.&nbsp;We reserve the right to refuse any booking if the parent/guardian cannot provide a current photo ID on check in. NOISE&nbsp;Parties and Loud Music or Noise Levels are not permitted and will not be tolerated.&nbsp;Guests will be requested to leave the resort IMMEDIATELY without&nbsp;refund.&nbsp;Any damage to any resort property will be charged accordingly. PARKINGOnly ONE allocated undercover parking space is provided per apartment. There is visitor parking at the front of building.
